Why I Ride?

I am often asked why I ride my motorcycle everyday, even when its freezing. The answer is simple and complicated. The simple answer is, because I don't have a car, but I love it anyways. Why? I never really have an answer on the spot for those people. So here is my attempt.

Think about when you first got your licence. Remember how cool it was, How awesome it was. The freedom to do whatever you want. Just to go out, windows down, radio up. Well minus the radio, I get that feeling everyday. When you ride, its an adventure, its not like when you get in a car and you just go. I am on that bike and I am enjoying the scenery. The smells, good and bad. I can smell the donut store a block away every morning as I approach. The grease at the auto shops. It is living life and enjoying every second of it.

It's October and i saw a Cd with Christmas on it, and all week Christmas Music has been in my head. I didnt listen to a single song until now. Hell with Halloween and Thanksgiving, its Christmas time in my head.

Tetris

Until January Tetris was probably my least favorite game. In fact, given the choice, I'd just not play. Tonight I finally got all 150 lines.....level 15. I will now like to be called King Tetris.

On a seperate note ...I tonight I deleted several comments. They were all spam. Somehow they were only on ONE post. I dont get it. It was a post from Saint Patricks day 2009. WTF that day wasn't that great.

Had to buy new tires for the Bike....$550 dollars later... my bicycle is looking mighty nice.

This year I gave a dear friend the gift of technology. He was dumbfounded. He couldn't believe that the gift was his, even though his wife was saying so too.

Dr. Pantz...If you remember while we were watching football today I changed the channel and said some expletives about some douchebag....you replied with tell me what you really think. Judge # 1 -- A little too heavy on the tomato. Amusing kick.
Judge # 2 -- Nice, smooth tomato flavor. Very mild.
Judge # 3 -- (Frank) What the hell is this stuff?! You could remove dried paint from your driveway. Took me two beers to put out the flames. I hope that's the worst one. These Texans are crazy!

Chili # 2 Austin's Afterburner Chili...

Judge # 1 -- Smoky, with a hint of pork. Slight jalapeno tang.
Judge # 2 -- Exciting BBQ flavor; needs more peppers to be taken seriously.
Judge # 3 -- Keep this out of the reach of children. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to taste besides pain. I had to wave off two people who wanted to give me the Heimlich maneuver. They had to rush in more beer when they saw the look on my face.

Judge # 1 -- Black bean chili with almost no spice. Disappointing.
Judge # 2 -- Hint of lime in the black beans. Good side dish for fish, or other mild foods; not much of a chili.
Judge # 3 -- I felt something scraping across my tongue, but was unable to taste it. Is it possible to burn out taste buds? Sally, the barmaid, was standing behind me with fresh refills. That 300-lb. woman is starting to look HOT...just like this nuclear waste I'm eating! Is chili an aphrodisiac?

Chili # 5 Lisa's Legal Lip Remover...

Judge # 1 -- Meaty, strong chili. Cayenne peppers freshly ground, adding considerable kick. Very impressive.
Judge # 2 -- Chili using shredded beef, could use more tomato. Must admit the cayenne peppers make a strong statement.
Judge # 3 -- My ears are ringing, sweat is pouring off my forehead, and I can no longer focus my eyes. I farted and four people behind me needed paramedics. The contestant seemed offended when I told her that her chili had given me brain damage. Sally saved my tongue from bleeding by pouring beer directly on it from the pitcher. I wonder if I'm burning my lips off. It really pisses me off that the other judges asked me to stop screaming. Screw those rednecks.

Chili # 6 Pam's Very Vegetarian Variety...

Judge # 1 -- Thin, yet bold vegetarian variety chili. Good balance of spices and peppers.
Judge # 2 -- The best yet. Aggressive use of peppers, onions, and garlic. Superb.
Judge # 3 -- My intestines are now a straight pipe filled with gaseous, sulphuric flames. I pooped on myself when I farted and I'm worried it will eat through the chair! No one seems inclined to stand behind me anymore. I need to wipe my butt with a snow cone.

Chili # 7 Carla's Screaming Sensation Chili...

Judge # 1 -- A mediocre chili with too much reliance on canned peppers.
Judge # 2 -- Ho-hum; tastes as if the chef literally threw in a can of chili peppers at the last moment. **I should take note that I am worried about Judge # 3. He appears to be in a bit of distress, as he is cursing uncontrollably.
Judge # 3 -- You could put a grenade in my mouth, pull the pin, and I wouldn't feel a thing. I've lost sight in one eye, and the world sounds like it is made of rushing water. My shirt is covered with chili, which slid unnoticed out of my mouth. My pants are full of lava to match my shirt. At least during the autopsy, they'll know what killed me.I've decided to stop breathing; it's too painful. Screw it; I'm not getting any oxygen anyway. If I need air, I'll just suck it in through the 4-inch hole in my stomach.

Chili # 8 Karen's Toenail Curling Chili...

Judge # 1 -- The perfect ending, this is a nice blend chili. Not too bold, but spicy enough to declare its existence.
Judge # 2 -- This final entry is a good, balanced chili. Neither mild, nor hot. Sorry to see that most of it was lost when Judge # 3 farted, passed out, fell over, and pulled the chili pot down on top of himself.Not sure if he's going to make it. Poor fella, wonder how he'd have reacted to really hot chili?"

So finally I bring pictures...hand painted with a digital camera. The picture to the right shows the big present this year for our County Counselors. These Flags were flown over the school district I work at in honor of these two gentlemen who served the district for a combined four decades.

They flew over the Marine Corps base just across town. They are both retired Marine Officers and Gentlemen. They Flew higher than the generals flag that day.....but shhhh don't tell him that.

They flew over this years Boys State Session During the pledge of Allegiance, The National Anthem (Which was Magnificent this year Dr. Pantz.) It can be heard hear....get it... and during the Invocation. They together have served the program for 50 years.

Lastly for their life long dedication to The United States as upstanding citizens, as fine men who have spent their entire lives serving both the people of the United States, and the young men of california. The Flags were flown here, over the State Capitol of California.

Just in case anyone is wondering..yes Everying's running smoothly. The two remaining pictures are of the bar I visit once a year on a thursday afternoon. Lastly of our Secretary of State Debra Bowen who not only is a nice lady, but graced us with her presence and her time. Here she is pictured after her duties speaking with some of the boys.

Over the past week I have really been grateful for this blog. I use it as a photo dump. Some of my really cool photos have been posted on here and without this blog they would all be lost. My photos from when I went to Arcata, all are posted here, Trips to Vegas. All these memories. That is such a huge plus for me.

Last week I was in Coronado with Dr. Pantz. He was visiting his aunt and I was just off the beach reading because it was too cold outside. It was then that I heard the familiar roar of the C-17 engines. My brother used to work on them while he was in the Air Force so I got to hear their engines daily when visiting.

Today I took my sister out to lunch to celebrate her birthday. We also did some Walmart shopping where I purchased the essentials I need for Sacramento. I bought; soap, Toothpaste, shaving cream, shorts, underwear, t-shirts, ink for my printer. Then we went over to Home Depot where I bought a hand cart so Dr. Pantz and I can haul our Refridgerators up there with us. He wont know about it until he reads this. I think he will be mighty pleased. If not...tough shit. I think he will though.

Knee Deep

My Computer is fixed!!!!!!!!!!!

The hard drive that I had replaced was a used one...and of course it failed too. Sunday I went out and bought a external hard drive. Yesterday I bought an internal one. The external holds 1 Tb and the internal holds 80 gb. I am now broke.

This weekend my brother brought his kids to stay for a week. My brother, youngest sister and I went off roading in his jeep. I let him drive. Turns out that was my first blunder. Thats right. He found the narrowest part of this valley to turn around in. So after two and a half hours of digging and trying to get ourselves out we called for help. Yes it was disgustingly hot. Blunder two was letting him back us out of the valley. We promptly got stuck again when he stopped for some dumb reason. So after we got out of that new hole. I drove. I backed us out and told my brother to start walking....it wasn't far. He got in and I got us the fuck out of that sandy hell hole. In case you wanted something to compare the type of soil to....the sand on the left is very rocky and gives lots of traction. The sand on the right is similar to a sand trap on a golf course. Damn...if I had my clubs I could have practiced that.

Recent Expenditures

With June quickly nearing I've recent spent quite a bit of money preparing for my yearly trip to Sacramento. The latest of which is to the right. A new Beer Fridge and of course I'm already using it. Pick your poison. Fat tire? Irish red? Pete's wicked strawberry blonde? Or as always C minus. I will be taking this Fridge up to Sacramento because they decided to start charging us money to provide a service that has for many many years been free. FUCK THAT! One armed Dr. Pantz it serves as our garage beer fridge now too. Not to be confused with the beer fridge that used to live in the garage that when combined with a keg and CO2 used to give you a glass full of heaven. Its very convenient for when we are working out there or even outside or on the pool, which is up and ready.

Another expenditure was AAA membership. I decided it would be smart just in case I break down either on the way or even about town on the bike and Pops is unable to come pick my ass up.

The last expenditure is freaking awesome and I wont be able to tell you about it until after I get back from Sacramento. Confidentiality is important of course. Although if you email me chances are I will tell you. I of course can't post it just in case people who are receiving these gifts somehow stumble across these.

Nay and Y have been asking forever what Dr. Pantz got for his birthday....I went with my fall back gift. He got an Excellence in Broadcasting coffee mug. No he does not work in radio. If that confuses you....look up Excellence in Broadcasting.

Recent Adventures

Lately I've been a busy beaver. Work has been interesting. Drove a District truck last week. That was fun. I'll give you one guess which one was mine...............If you guessed old and busted....you were right! I did manage to have some fun at work. I found this in a classroom. I happen to know the teacher and know he wouldn't mind me playing with his costumes.

I don't know if i mentioned it but I went to a Chicago Concert a few weeks back...ok maybe a month ago. It was Great!

The winds here are horrible. Riding the bike is interesting. Dr Pantz has a birthday in one week!

To Protect and Kill

A special thanks to the Deputy who tried to make me a millionaire Thursday night. It was a nice thought...but running my bike into the side of your car as you make an Illegal u-turn is not the way i'd like to get rich.

My birthday is an hour away and im sicker thank a dog. Turns out my brother and his kids are also sick. Which is odd. I wonder if we caught something from the mexican restraunt we ate at. Oh well...it tasted good.

One major problem that will have to be fixed first thing tomorrow. Im out of beer. Shit.

The awesome ladies I work with decorated my office friday. They got me a bunch of candy and a couple of Dr. Peppers....mmmm. TOo bad I was sick and couldn't enjoy it to the fullest. Cake mmmmm....Just great.

I've been riding the bike again and after three days of riding and been almost killed twice. YAY. Thank god its almost. One month and one hour until Dr. Pantz's birthday.

Scotland Forever.

Drunk as a skunk im blogging. Visited with Dr. Pantz this afternoon. Had a few green beers to celebrate his Irish heritage. Came home and had several more.

Passed out while the Corned beef and cabbage was cooking. Woke up...mmm tasty.

For the first time in a very long while I watched American Idol. They were singing Country songs this week. I saw Randy Travis on, which is what caught my attention. If i had to pick a favorite Country singer it would be him, hands down. So I sat and watched a while. I enjoyed the few singers I saw.

My birthday is sunday.

My brother and his kids were visiting this weekend. It was a great weekend. Just fantastic. My nephew called me this weekend to say that he missed Uncle. He is two and a half....just tugs at the heart strings.

So to all my blog readers, I haven't forgotten you. Cheers! I drink a green one for you.

Well with all the talk of the fairness doctrine on conservative radio, I was very surprised to read this while on the John tonight. For those of you who think Fox news isn't a satisfactory source of news. I also looked it up on the Daily Telegraph, which is THE MAIN paper in England. Its similar to the Times ( NY,LA).

Somehow I see our country heading down that very same road well with our socialist/ marxist leaders. A place where we get arrested for our speech. It says he said it in HIS gym. An establishment he owns. Whats next for England, thought crime?

Chomp down on some peanuts.....somewhat satisfying, still hungry.

Search Cabinets for food that does not require cooking.

YAY CHIPS!!!!! wait these have been in here a while.

More beer and sirius!

Eye dog's biscuits.

Drink another beer.

Take bite. Sister laughs.

Sister is too busy sitting on her ass picking her nose to take me to the store.

Discard biscuit because of lack of flavor.

Consider opening marinara sauce to add flavor.

Drink more beer.

Break down and bake some crescent rolls.

Its 11:09 P.M. oven is pre-heating.

Drink beer while waiting.

Eat more peanuts. mmm cashews, mmm beer nuts.

Note to self: learn how to roll Crescent Rolls.

Grab and open can of dog food.

Retrieve spoon.

Proceed to eat my dinner minus my dessert (crescent roll balls, and other mysterious shapes)

Choke down dinner with copious amounts of beer.

Consider writing a letter to the doggy treat company because the treats are bland.

Consider writing a Thank You letter to the Coors company because their beer makes this dog food tastes a hell of a lot better.

YAY they are done cooking.

Allow remaining rolls and balls to cool a few minutes.

MMM dog food and crescent thingy's oh and beer.

I feel better now that I've Eaten.

Also the dog food mentioned in this post was made by Hormel. Which as you all know is practically the same thing as dog food. No insult is intended towards actual dog food companies who make good food. The dog biscuit was green.

I did make really FUCKING good brownies the other night. I wish there were more...I'd have eaten them instead.

So update time. I was reading a friends blog and he was commenting about blog suicides.....I thankfully didn't make the list. SO I should post. Good news. Gators are Football Champs. Bad news Oklahoma lost :( just kidding thats good news too HA HA!!!

I have a post in the wings about my trip to Vegas and my clash with Global Warming driving through the desert, but of course.....I started it and haven't finished it.

Annual Rose Parade trip occured, those pictures are on hold. Might go see Billy Joel in concert. Las Vegas, Valentines day.

Past few weeks I've been listening to Andrew Wilkow. I like him a lot. I listen to him for a few hours before bed. Someone who understands the purpose or arguement or debate. Break my arguement...or you lose, prove me wrong.

Was kinda disappointed to see Hanity and Colmes go under. I liked watching that occasionally.

Picked out the birthday present for Dr. Pantz, a dear friend.

Officially got hired back with my old employer. Before I was working as a temp employee. Now im full time bitches!

Florida Wins

Sorry for being a slacker. This past month has been hectic. From moving back to California, to, Thanksgiving and working. Haven't bothered to blog.

I moved back to Ca. Went back to work almost immediately. Thanksgiving came and my Brother was here with his family. It was great to see him again. I enjoyed every minute of him and his visit. His kids are so much fun. We taught his son to say I Love Uncle. Yeah...its great. My sisters are jealous.

Im currently sick...again. I hope to kick this cold in the butt real soon because im hoping to go to Vegas this weekend with my good friend Dr. Pantz.

Oh Yeah....Florida is in the BCS bowl. yippeee. I don't know how I feel about the love triangle of texas, texas tech and Oklahoma. Some how Oklahoma was deemed the best and so Florida has to play them. Can't wait for another win. Hopefully a playoff of some sort will come soon, college football needs it.

Back From The Far East

I have returned from the far east. I spent Halloween in South Carolina with my brother and a couple of his friends. Dinner was at the Red Lobster after I landed. I was also excited to learn in Charlotte, my lay over, that I was carrying a lethal weapon onto the planes. I could have forked the hell out of many passengers. Luckily I put the fork back into my pocket where it remained until I could stow it away in my suitcase. I was amazed I got through security with it in my jacket pocket. I had no idea it was there, and had forgotten I stashed it there so I would remember to take it out of the car.

The next couple days were plagued with packing and moving. We filled a 26 foot moving truck and Monday morning took off for Arizona, but not before making a stop at a popular roadside attraction.

Waffle House. Yummy. So much better than Dennys.

As we drove west gasoline got cheaper. In Oklahoma we saw the cheapest. $1.96 per gallon. However we stopped at a Loves and purchased gas for $1.99.

Lunch time that day was spent in Amarillo Texas. We ate at the Big Texan. It was mmm mmm good. Finger lickin' good? Oh my god I'm stuffed good? Holy hell this steak is amazing good? Yes! that's it.

We spent that night in Gallup New Mexico. It was windy and cold when we arrived, around 35 degrees or so. When we woke up and decided to hit the road it was 14 degrees. that's Fahrenheit not Celsius. It was FUCKING cold. Note to self, wear shoes when it is cold, not flip flops.

Pre-Election Day Weekend Update

Today I voted. I was originally going to vote on tuesday november 4th like many americans, but I remembered that I won't be home to vote. This Week was very exciting.

My Chef friend Edgar came to visit from Orange County. Lots of beer was had by all. He left Wednesday morning. After he left things were sad and dull. I did have Wednesday night to look forward to. My friend Lisa was in town with two of her friends and she took me out to dinner on Freemont street. Afterwards she took me to the Burlesque show at the Flamingo.

Weekend Update!

I've decided to steal this from SNL. Im going to try to update at least once a week, just to keep up so I don't end up skipping an entire month like I did September. This week was interesting. I watched Ironman for the first time. What a good movie! I also had my first rum and coke...mmm tasty. Florida plays the University of Kentucky this weekend so im looking forward to another win.

Gators Kill Tigers

Last weekend was a very happy weekend for me. Florida killed Louisiana. I, however, a loyal Gator fan did not get to watch the game. I did follow the scores from my cell phone. With a minute to go I was overjoyed upon seeing the score 51-21. A friend who sat across the table joked, "Its not over yet they might still lose." I replied with, "yeah they might, but John Elway isn't in this game."

The reason I didn't watch the game was because I was attending a beautiful wedding of a classmate of mine. As a musician I had only one complaint. The rest was perfect. Dr. Pantz you raised a fine woman.

On the way home to Vegas I stopped at Tommys. Mmm Tasty. Thats right, thats Chilli on that burger. Fantastic.

Ok Its been a long time...and I have a lot to tell and a lot of pics to upload. Unfortunatly my computer is dead.

The good news is I now hold residence in Las Vegas Nevada. The bad news is, im still working in California, which means im now exactly moved to Vegas yet. damn.

My Vegas Trip

Monday right after work my friend and I "M" (same "M" from previous post about vegas). We took M's car because it got better gas mileage. After 20 miles, or so, we stopped to help an English couple we happend to be stuck in the sand. That happens a lot here in the desert because of soft sand on the shoulder or side of the road. Several other people stopped to help as well as someone in a truck who had chains. After that we were back on the road. By the time we entered the Mojave National Preserve outside of Amboy and North of Interstate 40, the car was over heating. We quickly pulled over turned on the heater and checked the coolant level. Everything looked good. We got back on the road and kept going and the temperature dropped. After a while we turned the heater off and everything remained cool. Just before we got to Cima we noticed something was wrong with the XM radio. At that point we shut everything electrical off. Then we made a left turn at Cima and headed towards Interstate 15 instead of going straight and going further east but also towards the 15. It was a difference of 3 miles. We decided cell phone reception was important.

Midway down that road the electrical cut out. We thought the car died so we coasted 2-3 miles. By the time we were about out of energy we decided to stop on a hill and push. Once we stopped we noticed the car was still running. So I said "shit go!!!" So we went. We made it to the interstate. After about a quarter of a mile going up hill we gave up...the automatic transmission could not decide what gear to be in so we pulled over and called a tow truck. Several tow trucks drove by, some empty, some full. One even showed up and pulled over behind us about a hundred yards away and waited a few minutes and left. After an hour of waiting our tow truck showed up.

We were then given the option of being towed to Baker for free, or Las Vegas for $300-$400. We opted for free. So off we go. We drove on eastward...20 miles to the nearest exit. At this point Vegas was probably closer and would have been the town that would have been free.

So we arrive in Baker and get dropped off at this garge. It was damn near dark and it was 103 degrees outside still. We leave the car in the guys hands knowing that it should be done around 11 the next morning. No big deal.. No vegas. So we decide shoot we can go to Barstow and at least have a fantastic burger at Tommys. We checked in to a motel and went to dinner at Bobs Big Boy. After dinner we had a few beers and went to bed. In the morning we got up and walked to Dennys after check out. By this time we had talked to the Garage several times and we were waiting on a part from Barstow. After sitting in Dennys for an hour we learn that the truck delivering the part broke down. I was bored so i took a couple of pictures in Dennys. The first one is from our table looking out the front at some other motel in town that looked too cheap for us white folk. I mean us folk who have at least some dignity. I mean ...fuck....it looked trashy and we aren't white trash yet. The second is my glass of coke...I think it was my third. Plus of course the milk shakes. Our waiter sucked...After our meal he paid us no attention and so recieved no tip. After three hours of waiting in Dennys we went outside into the 109 degree hell hole known as Baker and sat under a tree on a picnic table. By this time I had called a friend to come get me because I had shit to do back home and was going to Sacramento the next day. Here is a view of the interstate from where I sat. My friend showed up and we took off.

On our return trip We saw this amazing looking tree growing in the desert near Amboy on the side of the road. Being that it was hot we pulled over and raised the black flag....well the black flag was already up. I got home quickly packed and did the shit I had to do and went to bed. I woke up and by the time I was leaving my friends house to leave for Sacramento I recieved a call from "M" telling me he finally left.

Tonight as I was cleaning my shit-hole and packing for my trip to Las Vegas TOMORROW NIGHT....scratch that...TONIGHT!!! I found my Remote Control. Its been missing for a month or so. I got really excited. I haven't watched much T.V. lately because its been missing, even though I can turn the tv on with my toe from the position im sitting in. Its changing the channel that is a pain...so I just gave it up. Well tonight...well...ok the next few minutes because I have to work in 5 hours...its TV heaven.

I was at the Aquarium of the Pacific on a field trip today. I had a great time. The weather was beautiful. Then we left. All hell broke loose. We were leaving peaceful sunshine and heading down the 91 parking lot to hell. "AKA" Moreno "tornado" Valley.

I took this picture out the side window of the bus. As you can see...thats snow. Did I mention I was sweating in Long Beach. And it was fucking hot all week. I froze my ass off at the rest stop at Whitewater being traffic guard.

Splitting Headache

So after a 10 hour work day I am way beyond beat. For the past 4 hours i've had a splitting headache. The only thing that seemed to ease my suffering was laying down on the couch at work while on break "cough." Of course as soon as I resumed my duties I was light headed and the splitting pain came back. Alas its bed time.

Oh yea it was a miserable 102 degrees here today.

So Last night I finally broke down and paid my phone bill, and bought new brake pads. Now that I can't afford anything until after memorial day. I hope to do lots of reading. ( I am already doing a lot of that). Right now im in the middle of the brake job and im filthy. I need a shower but im too lazy to do that right now, especially seen as im not done. I still have the passenger side to do.

I've never done this before so the first side wasn't that fun. The second side should be a lot faster now that i am experienced. Sorry no pictures...im too dirty to touch my phone to take one.

One of the best parts of living here is the beautiful sunsets. It gets even better when there are clouds in the sky. I will try to remember to next time I see a cloud. This was Tuesday last week. I took it while at work. We are looking across the playground from a classroom.

The second one which shows more sun, was taken on Wednesday at work. I entitled it stairway to heaven. However, upon viewing it..the ramp is going downhill, so it could be the highway to hell.

Two days ago while I was at work I found this guy.

As you can see he isn't very big. On second thought..he was very big.

On a side note to answer ney before she shits her pants. My friend and I both wanted to see Queen in concert. I personally was thinking Live Aid 1985.

Drive Thru for morons

Tonight some large lady didn't follow that rule She went through the drive through and ran out of gas 2 feet before the window. Being the nice guy I am, I went out and pushed her up to the window and then after she paid and got her food, out to the parking lot.

Gniles Goes South

Gniles has been heard from. He called to tell me he is traveling to Biloxi Mississippi for a vacation. He is met some hotel casino owners from there and they asked him to come stay for a while. He said he would send some pictures as soon as he could.

Meanwhile, I am taking a beginners motorcycle course. Tonight was the first night. 5 hours later I am home with a 50 out of 50 on the written exam. Saturday and Sunday both have 5 hours dedicated to them in which I will learn how to actually ride. (again?)

700 mile journey

So as I mentioned in the previous post I was away from home on my birthday.

I had to drive my sister to Palmdale California. A 150 mile journey. On the way back I went the long way home around Edwards Air Force Base so I could have a fantastic breakfast.

The best hamburger i've ever had. That trip just for the burger and back home was 202 miles.

Today I made the long trek down to a whales vagina. AKA San Diego. That was 185 miles one way. Todays drive was round trip so be sure to add it twice. ( it was actually longer but whos counting?)

Todays trip was a lot of fun because i was with a friend.

Viva Las Vegas Sunday Part 3 of 3

Sunday we woke up and I hoped in the shower first. A hot shower was nice. We all then raced to get out of the hotel because check out time was coming fast and it was daylight savings time so we lost an hour.

Amanda took off to get breakfast and the rest of us packed the car. I then went to check out. It took me forever to get to the third floor to check out because of people all climbing on the the elevator. It would have been a lot faster to take the stairs. I checked out and walked through the casino and out the front. I then proceeded down the street and had them meet me at the parking garage exit. They messed up the breakfast order so we had to go back over to the Krispy Kreme place to get the order fixed. Then we drove over to sexpresso and was disappointed to learn it was closed. Then we went shopping AGAIN at Target. I ended up going to the car because I was shopped out.

Then we went to a restraunt called Chipolte for lunch. It was very good. I had a burrito. After that we drove across the street to UNLV and carried Amandas stuff to her room. Once we got up there I took a nap on Amandas bed, I was worn out. Mark and Amanda went out and did something, and Emily watched TV. I got a phone call and woke up and answered it, it was Mark, it was time to go. So up I got and walked outside to meet them. We walked over to the Student Union and Mark got some Panda Express for work that night. I got a large Dr. Pepper. We then drove to the Chevron station to get gas, I got out to clean the window..and bam, my large Dr. Pepper spilled all over the rug. Meanwhile I was on the phone to Verizon cancelling my contract for TODAY! Then I went in and bought a bottle of Dr. Pepper and continued to clean up the huge mess.

Eventually we got back on the road and left Vegas.

On the way home we stopped at a train station and I got some pictures.

As you can see in the picture to the right. Here we have Animal interbreeding. The Cougars mate with the deers. Below is a picture of the actual train station as we were driving by. This station is also on a National Preserve so it is protected. After that we got back on the road and took off. We drove the short drive from here to Interstate 40. Passed under it and not even a mile from the interstate we had to pull over and turn around to rescue someone broken down on the road.

I quickly moved him off the road in the direction he was facing because some cars were coming. As you can see he would be a gonner based on his location.

As you can see to the left of the tortoise in the left picture. He is much bigger than a cell phone.

After that we got back in the car and returned uneventfully home.

Ass Raped Prison Style

No not literally.

Last night I was a dumb fuck and got ass raped prison style. I without paying attention to what I was doing downloaded a serious horse cock. As soon as I did it i realized what I did and raced to run Ad-aware Professional. As much as I love Ad-aware. It did not help. So next I started dumping files from the control panel that looked unfamiliar, or I did not use anymore( the later one was might as well). Meanwhile as i was talking to ~Y~ the Fucking Trojans killed my aim. It totally deleted it off my desktop. So I removed it as well. Then I signed onto aim using my backup Trillian (it was already turned on I just had to connect using my normal aim screen name.)

Then I said fuck a lot and told ~Y~ what was going on. Then having not found the fucker, I downloaded Stopzilla. It was the first thing that popped up when I searched for it. Downloaded quickly and within an hour the computer was scanned and was ready to delete all the trojans and mal-ware. Then of course those stopzilla fuckers wanted me to register and pay them to delete the shit, which would be fine, if I wasn't getting gang raped and didn't want my credit card information stolen. FUCK!

Meanwhile my brother signs on and says that AVG has a free version and so I quickly download that and end up letting it scan all night.

This morning my computer is a lot of programs lighter plus AIM. All is well on the western front and my ass is still sore.

Viva Las Vegas Part 2 Saturday

Saturday we woke up and my sister raced to the shower. An eternity later Mark and Amanda jumped in. A little bit later i got in. The shower was cold but got hot by the time i got out. Fuck won't make that mistake again. By the time we were all dressed and ready to go it was about lunch time. We all took off for Henderson Nevada.

On the way to Henderson we made a left on Flamingo and headed towards UNLV to a coffee place called Sexpresso. It is a drive through coffee place. Its a regular coffee joint, but they've changed all the names of things. I had the pleasure cup. It was definitely pleasurable. When we pulled up,no one else was there so when we pulled up the waitresses said, "hey boys!" Then the other waitress saw my sister and Amanda in the back and said, "oh hi girls." Yes they were flirting, but the best part of it was they were in lingerie. The rest was all wood.

We had lunch at a place called Buffalo Wild Wings. The wings at this place were fantastic. We tried five different types of wild wings. We tried their Honey BBQ sauce, Spicy Garlic, Carribean Jerk, and the Mango Habenero. Of the four listed Carribean Jerk was my least favorite. That in itself is really weird because i normally like that flavor. The Mango Habenero was very tasty and not very spicy despite the habenero name. The four of us decided to go ahead and try the hottest flavor the had. "Blazin." At first we were disappointed because it wasn't very hot and it tasted horribly. A few minutes later we all felt the heat. None the less it was still a disappointment because there wasn't much taste. Our waiter was Dave. Props to Dave showed us a good time. He wasn't the best waiter but he was very pleasant. I showed our appreciation with a very handsome tip. Approximately 33 percent. After Buffalo Wild Wings the girls went shopping at the mall next door. I also had a Molson with lunch.

Mark and I walked around the shopping center looking for an At&t Wireless Store. We didn't find one, but we did manage to walk through a nice furniture store. We walked through the furniture store to the mall. We walked through J.C.Pennys and then started looking at the stores. Turns out Mark spilled coffee on his shirt and decided to buy a new shirt. We walked down to where Dillard's was and i happened to see a sports store so I decided to buy a new hat. DAMN NO GATORS. EVERY OTHER TEAM THOUGH WHAT THE HELL!!???!! So I bought a Gator shirt. Then as I walked out I saw an AT&T store so I walked down to it. Talked to a guy there and got some more information so I can switch to them more easily. After that I went to wash the Buffalo Wing smell off of my fingers. Then Mark and I re-met up in Dillard's. Mark bought a new shirt and a good looking gal twisted my arm and convinced me to buy some new cologne. (Seen Right). I also got a gigantic Kenneth Cole Rubix Cube to go with it, and and a big luggage bag. So it all ended up being worth it. After that we left and went to go look at apartments. Then i saw a motorcycle store so we stopped. And Mark and I looked around. Then we got back in the car and drove down the road to an apartment complex. The complex was nice, the rooms were small...but not worth the price. Then we got back in the car and drove on to another one. This one was really nice. After an hour there it was getting close to dusk so we went back to UNLV to pick up Amanda's roommate.

Once we got her we drove back to hotel to get ready for dinner. Then we took off for the strip. We parked at New York New York and walked to the Monte Carlo. We had dinner at Diablo's Cantina. We sat on the second floor balcony. I had a fantastic seat. I was looking out at the street towards the MGM GRAND sign. Which was advertising some show...I don't remember what, but damn those girls were SEXY. The chips and salsa weren't anything too exciting but they were okay. I ordered a Taco Salad. It was very good. It was more like 3 tostada's staked up. But it was good none-the-less. I had a Tecate Draft before and during some of dinner, and had to track down a different waitress just to get a second. The waitress was a cute asian of about 23-26. She impressed me by memorizing all of our orders. However she was never around when we needed her. That and nowhere to be found. When it came time for the bill Amanda was talking about splitting the bill with the waitress who was standing next to me. I just turned around and told her to just go ahead and bring me the bill. She did of course and it was 113 dollars at least. She did manage to brush her boob against my arm, but that wasn't enough to get a bigger tip. She ended up getting a 10% tip. For poor service. I left 5 dollars on the table and she never returned with my change. We walked out of there and into the casino, stopping by the bathrooms first. The bathroom attendant was there with towels to dry my hands. In the Casino we looked around and walked out to the next one. The next stop was the Fountains of the Bellagio. Unfortunately it was too windy so I personally was greatly disappointed, having never seen them at night. We walked into the casino and looked at all the great shops inside. The girls did the girl thing and Mark and I went and gambled. I bought some cards and lost some money. The waitresses there qualified to work at hooters. ALL the waitresses i saw qualified. Damn I've never seen so much cleavage in my life. Then we walked back to the stores to find the girls. Half an hour later we made our way out to watch the Fountains....nope still to windy. Then we headed next door to CEASARS PALACE.

At Ceasars Palace we played some slots and I lost some more money. Mark was playing slots and I told him I was going to go play some Roulette. My friend Robin told me to bet it all on black. So i did. The minimum bet was 20 dollars. So of course naturally I won 20 dollars. Then i cashed in my chips and walked back to where they were all standing. Turns out Mark Broke the machine and they had to come restart it. So he put his money in another machine and lost it. Then we walked across Las Vegas Boulevard to Paris. At Paris we gambled and lost some money but I finally got a free beer. So I bought some cards. I also bought some at Caesars and the Bellagio. We met up with my sister's boyfriend's cousin. Then we walked down the street to another mall. Several hours later after I was not only shopped out but bored our of my freaking mind. We left. We took Marie back to her room and we went to the hotel. By the time we got there the cousin had left and the rest of us crashed.

When we came out of the mall, which is right across the street from the Bellagio. The fountains were going and i managed to catch the last minute or so of the show. It was fan-fucking-tastic. Its one of those things you see and it just gives you goose bumps. Well for me it does.

Viva Las Vegas Friday (part 1 of 3)

So Friday night I skipped work and took off for Las Vegas. On this adventure was Mark (my ver good friend) Emily (one of my sisters) and myself. We arrived in Vegas just before night started to fall (dusk). The first thing we did was drive to UNLV to meet up with Mark's girlfriend, Amanda. Amanda met us in the parking lot with a golf cart and gave us a tour of most of the campus. We got to see all kinds of neat stuff. After that we took off for our hotel. We stayed down town at the Plaza. We checked into our room which was on the fourth floor and had a view of the Nevada Water Authority building and some construction, thats about it. The room was kind of lame and the bathroom had some pubes in the shower so Amanda and I went to the desk and complained and they gave us a new room.

The new room was on the 16th floor and had a view right down Freemont Street, well the ceiling covered most of it...but you could see part of the way in. After we were settled we went out to dinner. We dined at the Stratosphere...at a 50's diner type place called Roxys. It was a nice little place and I ordered the Philly CHeesesteak. Well it sucked. So after we ate we got up and went to the strip. The girls were going to go shopping and Mark and I were supposed to go gamble. The mall we went to closed at like 10...and it was after that when we arrived. So we all got back into the car and drove back to the hotel. Emily and I then walked down Freemont Street and looked at all the shops and casinos. Mark and Amanda meanwhile...bumped uglies. They met up with us during the light show after Emily and I had been all the way down to the end and come back about halfway. Mark and I ended up getting some beer at one of the stores. It was nice to be able to walk down the street drinking beer. On the way back Mark Bought two HUGE margaritas for Amanda and Emily and we all went back up to the room. We drank our beers and then decided to go to the casino for a bit.

At the Casino we played the slots and lost some money, but managed to hear a good band playing. So it was well worth it. When we decided we were done we went back to the room and Emily and Amanda we FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKED UP. Lets just say they were being too loud and I got pissed and sent Emily to bed. Which of course she did and passed out in an instant. Amanda on the other hand who usually holds her alcohol well...was up all night next to the toilet.

This post is in response to a post today by my buddy Carlos. In it he talks about an e-mail he recieved from a co-worker. In one part he mentions the heroes of WWI and WWII and today I found out that a month ago on February 4th 2008 one of the Boys State WWII Veterans Died. The one on the left is Carlo Flores. I was deeply saddend to learn of his death. Although I am a young boy and a young Counselor, the little I did know of Carlo i enjoyed. He was a very nice man. Tonight I shall drink to his honour.

P.S. the short man on the right died a few years ago. THe two gentlemen in the middle are still alive and well and have served over 50 years in the boys state program.

Buggy he was a marathoner at his age and he had a running group.

Yesterday afternoon I was in the shower, stone sober, preparing to go to a talent show. I was the sound engineer for the evening. While showering I was lathering up and did the flamingo so i could wash the bottom of my foot. Washed it...switched feet and washed the other one and as soon as i was about to put my foot down or maybe as I was washing (not warshing) it I lost my balance and spun and got my foot and my hands down just fast enough to stop my head from crashing into the wall and the rest of my body from diving out of the shower. If someone had been standing next to the curtain they definetly would have recieved a shoulder blow. It was that close.

Now tonight I was frustrated because I couldnt find the bottle opener for my beer. So i started taking shit off my desk looking for it. No Luck. So I walk my lazy ass back out to the fridge and use the one thats on the fridge. I get back to my room and sit down and i glance under the dvd player remote which is on my desk and what do I see. THAT FUCKING BOTTLE OPENER.

Ok so now the update. Last weekend my dads cousin Barbara came over. Her husband has gone to the hospital. He had Pneumonia. Well they started the anti-biotics and he started showing signs of improvement. When they decided to remove the respirator, he demanded to go home. After a little while they let him go under the care of hospice. He knew he was gonna die. He got home and was doing better. Then Saturday morning at 3 A.M. he asked his wife if she was going to make breakfast. She did. He died that night.

As I told Buggy on yahoo this evening... They are the only real family we have here in california. My family comes from Florida originally but is now spread out across the south (Dads side) Moms Side is in England and Ohio (mostly England). Barbara and Jerry happen to live several miles away with nothing in between but a few houses and desert.

Tomorrow I am driving down to Palm Springs to pick up Barbara's sister ( my second cousin) from the airport.

Think about this, In the movie Star Wars episode 1. What happens when the Trade Federation blockaded the planet Naboo? Naboo appealed to the Senate. No one believed them. What would happen if no one stood of for the people of Naboo? Naboo would have been rolled over by the Trade Federation much like they tried to do while the politicians protested and whined and tried to solve things diplomatically in the Senate and no one would have cared.

Now flash forward to modern day. Do you agree that Saddam was a dictator who was guilty of mass murder?

Now think about this situation. All of my blog readers are in a room together. I say I have a gun and plan to use it on someone in the room. Then I say oh I don’t have a gun. Would you or would you not be nervous? And what if I because you were so nervous at that point said you could search me. As you start to pat me down I change my mind and say no you cant search me anymore. And stop you from searching me? At that point you would be certain that I have some kind of weapon on me and you think I would use it. Would you or would you not then try to search me by force?

Right now i am currently drinking... Hue Beer (huhway). Brewed in Hue City Vietnam. I have decided i like this beer. Thanks for the mood lights Bunny and Early. Im sorry to tell you that you ruined the surprise. The Beer Stein however was a huge surprise. I cant wait to use it. Id be using it now...except i havent washed it yet. I am currently reading The Capitans. It is the second book in the series. Im hoping to get more reading time in next week because school is out for Christmas. Today i worked 10 hours and im glad to be home. Im hoping to get a couple of these Hue's down, depends on how thirsty i am.

In the past two weeks there have been 2 family friend deaths. The first being on the First, and the second one being this afternoon while my mother (i chose not to go) was at the first ladys funeral. Neither death has been a shock but both ladies were kind and really nice people. I wont go into more detail but god bless their souls.

I went out and bought a bunch of books the monday after thanksgiving. So now i should be set for a month or so...depending on how much work i do. Work is same ole same ole except now its COLD COLD COLD. Oh and sometimes theres a COLD WIND.
Today i was really bummed because the Head Custodian at the school ive been substitute custodian at was forced into retirement because of his bad knees. Tonight i talked to him and told him that we were gonna miss him and that i hoped he would come visit us. It sucks because i wasnt really done learning from him yet. But oh well. Hes not dead...just retired.
Lets see what else....Florida is playing a home game in college football. They are playing Michigan in Orlando Florida...which is also where im originally from. (born and lived for the first year of my life and visit occasionally) January 1st...everyone should watch Florida kill Michigan.

Ok its 61.9 degrees in my room and i am sitting here shivering. Im wearing sweat pants, sweat shirt, and slippers and im freezing. THIS IS REDICULOUS. It is, however, much colder outside. 42 degrees whew...chilly. ok that should satisfy y'all.

For Thanksgiving this year my sister came home from college and my Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin came for a visit from England. Nothing really exciting happend. Dinner was good. Yesterday they all left and the house was quiet and depressing. So i stayed in bed all day and read my book. Today i finished it. Now of course im all out of books to read. So tonight i am satisfying my boredom with a movie.

What the fuck is going on in Antigua? What the fuck is going on with Gator? Right now i can only answer one of those questions.

The past two weeks has been hell. I had two girls make formal complaints against me at the school i work at. I was hovering over them watching them work. Im guilty. Its my job. How funny. So my week has been crazy because of it. Ive been stressing out over it. Theres no need to be stressed out...but i am....scratch that... was. I felt better when i went to the bar and had some laughs with a co-worker who happens to work there. So this next week ive decided to take it easy. Tomorrow i will go to work like normal. Tueday im going on a field trip to Palm Springs with a bus load of kids and a few other employees. Wednesday i might take the day off. Thursday ive already decided to take off.

Either on Wednesday afternoon or on Thursday morning I will embark on a Road Trip. Im driving the 800 miles to see my sister in Arcata. I will be coming back on Monday morning. I intend to bring my computer so you can expect more updates than the ones ney is giving us.

I might also drive up to Oregon...just to say IVE BEEN THERE!

So now im going to sit here and wait for Bunny and Early's post.

Halloween, a childrens holiday?

Tonight i had to work, but i decided to take a long dinner break and went to a friends house. While handing out candy I saw 6 High School students MANY JR High school students and 1 adult trick or treating. I thought Trick or Treating was something fun for little kids to do. Evidently some crazy lady thought it would be a good idea to trick or treat with her daughter? How pathetic is that.

Foxes and fires

The fire going in the mountains near us is still raging.

I pulled this from the California Departement of Forestry and fire's website regarding the Slide fire.

This fire has burned 12,789 acres at Green Valley Lake near Running Springs in San Bernardino County and is currently 85 percent contained. Full containment is expected October 30. 201 homes and 3 outbuildings have been destroyed.
Evacuations remain in effect. Evacuation Centers are located at National Orange Show in San Bernardino and the Victorville Fairgrounds in Victorville. All highways in the San Bernardino Mountains west of Big Bear Dam are closed, except those with Sheriffs passes to voluntary areas. Access to Big Bear is via Hwy 38 from I-10 in Redlands or from Hwy 18 through the Hi-Desert in Lucerne Valley.
1,942 firefighters are currently assigned to this fire under unified command. The estimated cost of this fire to date is $8 million.

Our friends home is still standing from what i understand. I know at least two firefighters working that fire. One from Santa Rosa and one from here. The one from here is younger than I. The other fire that is really close to the Slide fire is 95% contained. Out of all the fires are over 50% contained. There is one HUGE one that is only 50% contained and is North of San Diego.

No worry from my area yet. The Closest fire is in Lake Arrowhead. Our family friends however have probably had to evacuate by now. Friends in San Diego though...so im worried for them too.

Time for some good news.

My Aunt and my Father returned home from their long motorcyle ride tonight. They drove up to Humboldt to see my sister. Today also happens to be my dads 52nd birthday.

NOW FOR THE BAD!!

Today my friend is headed back for Iraq. This time he is higher ranking and so his main concern...according to him... is his men. Very Noble, but personally, I care more about him than his men, but I understand what he is saying. So I shall say a prayer for him before bed for his safe return and for a swift end to the policing action we are now playing.

On a side note... The role we are playing in Iraq now SHOULD be done by the U.N. The U.N. should be the ones in there keeping the peace. It is now a moot point of was it right to go in or not, we already did. The U.N. needs to step up and take over the policing role...much like they did in Bosnia, Hertzgovina and Serbia (formerly Yugoslavia.) The U.N. was there and the U.S. soldiers had a strong presence there, under President Clinton. I know because my Aunt was working for the U.N. at the time and was there!

TRAGEDY IN GATORVILLE

So today something horrible happend. I went about my daily business. Woke up grabbed my phone off the charger, turned on the computer, went back to bed. Well when i woke up again much later the computer wasnt on like it should be so i went up to it and was going to hit the reset button when electricity passed from me to the computer. So now it wont turn on. So postings and comments will slow down some.

I Am Not A Liar

I almost went to work this morning without updating. Last night my Aunt arrived, my mothers twin sister, and we talked for a little while and then we all went to bed. So i forgot to update last night. Wow i thought there would be more to write about. oh well.

Yesterday afternoon i went to a school to return the custodial keys and i ended up staying a lot longer than i expected. Turns out as i was about to leave...the preschoolers discovered a fox in the tree. A Fox in the tree? Wait... we live in the desert. The only Fox ive head of in the desert is this guy, Erwin Rommel. Well i guess you learn new things all the time. I will post pictures as soon as i can get them off my phone and onto my computer. Oh and the rest of the story about me not being a liar...so tune in soon.
