TV Ratings

I was listening to talk radio and decided to do some research of my own. What I found out was amazing.

February 2nd 2010
All day totals.
FNC – 1,482,000 viewers
CNN – 434,000 viewers
MSNBC –376,000 viewers
CNBC – 257,000 viewers
HLN –307,000 viewers

I pulled these numbers from Tv by the numbers dot com.
Are you kidding me? Its not even close....well other than fox. Maybe that is why they arent a news program.

Now to break it down to prime time.

8PM –
The O’Reilly Factor – 3,597,000 viewers
Campbell Brown – 470,000 viewers
Countdown w/ K. Olbermann – 950,000 viewers
Coca-Cola: The Real Story — 173,000 viewers
Nancy Grace – 654,000 viewers

9 PM –
Hannity – 2,763,000 viewers
Larry King Live —759,000 viewers
Rachel Maddow Show —892,000 viewers
Marijuana Inc. — 531,000 viewers
Joy Behar – 709,000 viewers

10 PM
On the Record w/ Greta—2,239,000 viewers
Anderson Cooper 360 — 610,000 viewers
Countdown w/ K. Olbermann – 470,000 viewers
Porn: Business of Pleasure– 461,000 viewers
Nancy Grace –481,000 viewers

11 PM
The O’Reilly Factor— 1,701,000 viewers
Anderson Cooper 360 – 399,000 viewers
Rachel Maddow Show —349,000 viewers
Mad Money – 127,000 viewers
Showbiz Tonight– 309,000 viewers

Both showings of Maddow and Olbermann combined don't come close to O'reilly's first showing. They do come close to Hannity's first run.

What is fox news doing right? What is MSNBC doing wrong?
Does this represent the countrys feelings? You decide.
